Shadow is on the run from his past--family and heart. After his wife died tragically in a car crash, Shadow is left to pick up the pieces of his heart, and care for his daughter, all on his own. He finds a big protective family in the SOS Motorcycle Club that is just what he needs to stay hidden and protect his daughter. He finds solace in the arms of a caramel-skinned beauty, and initially fights his heart on what he needs to heal. When tragedy hits, Shadow finds his personal nurse is just what he needs.
