Shallow

Dexter Mc Millan was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad in 1970. Dexter is presently pursuing his B.Sc. at COSTAAT before moving on to his MA. He began writing poems and stories in the early nineteen ninetys, however, it was not until recently, that he felt ready to publish what he considers his inner feelings. He has many years of experience in the world of Corrections, and is proud of his membership in the Circle of Poets (Trinidad). His mentors were writers like Anson Gonsalves, Paul Keens Douglas, Pearl Eintou Springer and other Trinidadian writers who impressed him during his early development. He believes that it was primarily because of them, he should publish his books Missing Ties and Shallow, Voices of a small man (reborn).
