Suresh Kumar comes to the village - Rajapuram as a part of a research study. He likes the villagers, too. Suresh falls in love with a girl, who is a natural beauty of the village. He thinks that she too has similar feelings for him. But it is too late to understand that his conclusions were wrong. The novel's contents are that of the subsequent mental disturbances and tribulations. However, pure and perfect love never has tragic endings.
