Shu Wei's Revenge

Seventeen-year-old Shu Wei is the Town Scribe in the village of Sanhou China in 1898. He and his family are forced, by unprincipled town counselors, to emigrate from their village in China. Following their decision to relocate to San Francisco’s Chinatown, intrigue, mystery, and tension grow deeper as he tries to assimilate into a hostile world. Shu Wei works as a cub reporter for a local newspaper while he struggles to write stories exposing criminal elements in a local tong.
