Shutter to Think

Centralia, Pennsylvania; the St. Nicholas coal breaker; garage bands; the Pennsylvania countryside. Each has a story to tell simply by looking at it from different vantage points. A few words don’t hurt, either.


Sometimes in color, sometimes in black-and-white, a photographer has the ability to offer a narrative simply by using an image to do so. This short collection of photos, which runs from 2010 to 2015, and their accompanying tales attempt to do just that.
