Silver Heat

A rich and very successful writer loses his wife of 30+ years to a long and painful bout with cancer. Crippled by crushing grief and no longer able to stand being in any of the places they shared, he launches a quest to find deliverance from guilt and grief on the Northeast coast of Florida. He becomes determined to heal himself and takes a vow to carpe diem (seize the day) to take whatever comes his way and go with the flow. After forty years, his bisexuality reemerges as Fate leads him into the arms a near duplicate of a once good friend he has always regretted not making his lover.
