Simmer

Pam Robinson is tasked to substitute for a retiring senior ATF agent, but that means spending time in Houston, a city she loathes. Worse, the man she is replacing temporarily has a sour disposition and unloads his venom on her. Before her interim assignment runs its course, she is indirectly involved in a double homicide and directly involved in a shooting incident on a Houston street. Then her boss in Washington tells her he is quitting ATF, which will leave her high and dry.
