Sing-Song

Featuring over 120 nursery rhymes and children's verses, Christina Rossetti's Sing-Song: A Nursery Rhyme Book is a classic for both children and their parents. Originally published in 1879, this poetry collection captures the happiness and beauty of childhood. While seemingly light and simple, the verses in the volume were carefully penned and edited over a period of 13 months by Rossetti. In the first edition, famous artist Arthur Hughes illustrated each of the poems with detailed pen-and-ink sketches.
