What happens when your whole world is turned upside

Sinner is a teenager living in the Bronx in New York City. On
the eve of her eighteenth birthday she is sexually assaulted by her
father. Following the attack, she undergoes a dramatic change and
makes a life changing decision for which she pays a heavy price.
