SIREN IN THE CITY is the second instalment in Lexi Blake’s aka Sophia Oak’s contemporary, adult TEXAS SIRENS erotic, BDSM, ménage romance series focusing on the men and women of an upscale Dallas spa and resort known as The Club, which doubles as a BDSM club. This is the continuing story of thirty-two year old billionaire ranchers Jack Barnes and Sam Fleetwood, and thirty-seven year old, registered nurse Abigail ‘Abby’ Moore’s story line. SIREN IN THE CITY should not be read as a stand alone as is picks up a few months after the events of SMALL TOWN SIREN. The Texas Sirens series is a spin-off from the author’s NIGHTS IN BLISS, COLORADO series.

Told from several third person perspectives including Jack, Sam, and Abigail SIREN IN THE CITY focuses on the fractured relationship between thirty-two year old billionaire ranchers Jack Barnes and Sam Fleetwood, and thirty-seven year old, registered nurse Abigail ‘Abby’ Moore. Six months after an incident that threatened the relationship of Abby, Sam and Jack, Jack struggles with issues of PTSD, helplessness, and insecurity a it pertains to his ability to protect the people he loves. Battling his own demons, and demons from the past Jack is sequestered by Julian Lodge, owner the The Club, in an effort to uncover the truth behind his half-brother’s need to blackmail the family. Left alone to their own devices, Sam and Abby set out on an adventure of their own only to wreak havoc as their search for something they both want but lost. What ensues is the rekindling relationship and romance between Jack, Sam and Abby, and the potential fall-out as the trio, once again, come face to face with their own mortality.
The relationship between Jack and his sub/lovers is broken and damaged. Jack is unable to come to terms with what happened and why, leaving Sam and Abby struggling with their place in Jack’s life.
