Certainly unusual and different!
Wow, this is a steamy book. The kind of book that is so steamy that if you read it in public on your eReader you make the font really small so that the people next to you can’t read it... About a female archeologist and her team on the hunt for the legendary dragon temple that her father told her about when she was a child. Throughout the omnibus, the motivations of the other members of the team are discovered, although with their ultimate fate in the dragon temple.
This “book” is actually a collection of 6 novellas. My favorite was book 5, where there is an appreciable amount of back story for one of the more interesting characters.
I probably would have enjoyed this book more if the percentage of “steaminess” to plot was more 50/50 or even lapsing into more plot than sex. Of course, this is just my opinion, I’m a plot person. One thing I can say about the amount of “interpersonal relationships” is that they do move the plot along, are mostly essential to the plot, and aren’t completely gratuitous. So, although this collection of novellas wasn’t totally for me, I’m sure that if you love magic dragons and creative scenes with a lot of “making whoopie” this may be the book you for!
For fairness, I did receive a free copy of this ebook for my honest and fair review.
