Six short stories: Defender is about Jack Fowler,  an aging Vietnam veteran who is our planet’s last defense against an alien assault force; Dumping Ground is a quickie about kids growing up; Green Eyes is about true love and jealousy; Claudia’s Legs is about growing up but told from an older perspective; Poseidon Rocks is a tale of childish innocence faced with pedophilic depravity; and Lena Turns the Corner is about a coming of age in the latter years.
