Small Steps

Small Steps is a science fiction novel set in the near future. The story is told from the point of view of multiple people that are unknowingly at a critical stage in the exploration and settlement of the solar system. Only one company controls the ability to travel at the speed of light using the LOST ("line of sight travel") engines. This imbalance in knowledge creates conflict as others seek to take that knowledge (with force if necessary) for themselves.
