Teaming up again with her detective boyfriend, Nick, and her best friend Carolyn, Amelia dives into another investigation filled with late-night stakeouts, questionable disguises, and escalating risks. Just as Amelia wonders if she’s in over her head, the investigation takes a supernatural turn, when Carolyn begins exhibiting strange new powers tied to the case.

Now Amelia must stop a crime spree she suspects involves Mrs. Thompson and the shadowy men, save her best friend from powers she doesn’t want, and keep the espresso machine on all before Halloween.
