Smoking Mirrors

Charles – a museum archivist down on his luck – is working late one night when he damages an ancient obsidian mirror, releasing the trapped spirit of an Aztec war Goddess. Flung hundreds of years and thousands of miles from home, the jaguar-headed deity has no choice but to take up residence in his life, whether either of them likes it or not. Now, Charles must contend with trying to land a crucial promotion, while also dealing with a demanding entity that only he can see and hear. If the pair can learn to stop bickering, they might be able to secure both the promotion and the deity's continued existence.
