Kate Jones looked at the crumpled guillotine in her hands and felt jumpy.
She walked over to the window and reflected on her beautiful surroundings. She had always loved sunny Truro with its obnoxious, ordinary oceans. It was a place that encouraged her tendency to feel jumpy.
Then she saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of Matt Parker. Matt was a sweet bear with moist toes and solid fingernails.
