★★★★★ “5 big stars from me for this amazing story. Absolutely loved it!” (Goodreads)
★★★★★ “Emmanuelle Snow's stories are always full of angst, and Snowbound is no exception.” (Goodreads)
We never promised each other forever.
We didn’t even share our real names.
All we had was one snowbound night in an airport, a blizzard raging outside, and a connection so deep it felt impossible to explain. He was Andy. I was Abby. We talked until the world faded away—and then we walked off in opposite directions, believing that letting go was the right thing to do.
It wasn’t.
Three years later, I’ve rebuilt my life and I’m finally chasing my dreams—until I collide with the man who never left my heart. Anderson. The boy from the airport. The one I never forgot.
Fate doesn’t offer explanations, only second chances. As we find our way back into each other’s lives, secrets surface, timing fights us, and the past refuses to stay buried.
The question isn’t whether we still love each other.
It’s whether love is enough to rewrite what we were too afraid to claim the first time.
Snowbound is a heartfelt tale of love, serendipity, and resilience that will immerse you in the enduring power of love until the last page. This is book one in the Two of Us duet. This is the introduction to Abigail and Anderson’s serendipitous love story.

Another spectacular release from Snow - I cannot wait for part 2! A surprising cliffhanger ending!
If you like the idea of a pair of college aged strangers who meet in an airport bar when all flights are grounded overnight due to snow, who make the best of a situation on Christmas Eve Eve by entertaining the crowds with singing and dancing and games, rolling around the airport on wheelie desk chairs, and hiding out in borrowed business class suites (doing you know what), and spans the period of a couple of years after that fateful night, then Abby and Andy’s tale is the perfect holiday read for you.
We get a brilliant story with only a few flashbacks (that’s a story device I don’t normally enjoy but the way it’s used here is done properly), starting where this book ends, and takes us back to where it all began, on a stormy night a couple years ago… taking us through their individual lives over the next couple years until they cross paths again. And what a twist of fate that meeting certainly is! Serendipitous. I’m in complete shock at everything packed into these 350 pages.
This is another beautiful novel that is related to, but not directly in, the Carter Hills Band world - a couple of the characters are mentioned here (a couple of the previous main characters do make very brief appearances). This is a complete standalone from her other books so you can read it without the others, but the background of the rest of the Carter Hills universe will be very helpful.
I’m *desperate* now for the next book in this duet, but Emmanuelle tells me I still have to patiently wait a few more months. I’m going to go crazy with anticipation and coming up with so many ideas in my mind to fill in the blanks for myself because I can’t handle not knowing how it ends! It was just such a cliffhanger! I cannot mention anything more because it will totally spoil the main plot and surprise!! But there are unresolved details I need to have answers for!
I definitely recommend this book SO hard - but if you, like me, can’t deal with cliffhangers, wait until the second half of the duet is available or about to be released!! Emmanuelle Snow is not just one of my favourite authors, but just one of my favourite people. She knows how to write the heck out of an emotional rollercoaster!
I received an early copy from the author and this is my honest feedback.
