Resume Cet article est la re etude d'une cooperative d'habitation a but non lucratif a Toronto lots des 10 dernieres annees faite a partir d'entrevues et d'un questionnaire. Le but principal de l'article est de demontrer comment les changements du marche du travail et les politiques d'habitation des logements ont affecte la cooperative. Par exemple le taux de demenagement et le taux d'occupation de la cooperative ont reflete les changements economiques et politiques. Le niveau de participation de la cooperative la decline depuis 1990. Nous suggerons que les changements economiques et politiques ont pu avoir produit une separation entre les anciens membres et les nouveaux membres dus aux changements du procede de la selection des membres. Base sur la facon que la cooperative repond aux problemes deja rencontres, nous argumentons que l'experience souligne l'importance d'un controle des residents de logements et demontre la flexibilite des cooperatives sous une forme d'organisation.
