Written from his perspective, the story provides a unique outlook on the nature of relationships in the age of smartphones and social media.

"Spinal Tap," is written as excerpt from a larger story. We follow the mysterious Baku on his journey quest to avenge the fallen people of his home village that was destroyed by a group simply referred to as M.A.D. Taking elements from his childhood growing up in Compton, California, Cobb writes a science fiction short that engrosses the reader in hood life.

Lastly, "Broken Bong," is an essay about what Cobb refers to as the lowest point in his life. After moving in with some friends, Cobb details how the nature of the comradery eventually faded. The essay points out how easily friendships can fall apart due to selfishness, greed, envy, and bravado.
