Songbirds

There are over 4,000 species of songbirds in the world. Like those songbirds, each human is unique. The story of Songbirds encourages children to celebrate differences and to keep trying new things because everyone is created by God to do good in the world. Inspired by a friendship between the writer and the illustrator, as well as two children from different cultures, Songbirds should be shared with children for years to come.

Discussion questions invite parents and teachers to start conversations with children in order to help them consider their greater purposes in life. As the author writes, "Each person is special, with a part to play in life. All pieces are important, so be YOU with all your might!"
