It all began innocently enough. After I taught the song "Pirates Who Don't Do Anything" (2) from the movie Veggie Tales, a funny, repetitive list song (you get the lyrics online), it set me to thinking about doing something I wanted to do for some time. Being a musical theater composer, more often posing as a classroom music teacher, I have wanted to facilitate a songwriting lesson in the classroom, but have censored myself because I didn't think my students could do it. Real truth? I didn't think I could survive it. But now, freshly fortified by a few months of training in the "Inquiry" method of designing learning experiences, I decided to throw caution to the wind. First Session
