Soul: A Novel

There's trouble in the All--the realm where souls hang out before being implanted into bodies. A mysterious plague on Earth has shut down human reproduction and with no more babies being born, the heavenly Dispatch Station is overflowing with waiting souls. The situation is becoming dire when one brave soul volunteers to be sent down to discover the cause of all the trouble. And so, implanted into the body of a thirty-nine year old insurance underwriter from Columbus, Ohio--and armed with limited facts about his new life--our soul must first navigate a labyrinth of complications, including a troubled marriage, ungrateful kids, angry in-laws, an irate employer and a mistress that just won't go away. Then there's the little matter of the plague that has effectively sterilized the human race and the dark force behind it that will stop at nothing to make our hero's quest as difficult as possible.
