Splintered Hawke

Bambi Jeanine Belden-Berkhardt lives in Carmel, Indiana but was born in Lebanon, Kentucky in 1965 and grew up in a place called Jacktown in Casey County, Kentucky. Bambi will always think of herself a southern girl although she lives in Indiana. Raised by a middle class father who worked as a storekeeper and at a shoe factory, he was also an Elder in the church where the family worshiped. The entire family, which consists of four older sisters and mother, were all very active in church and was raised with a tremendous amount of faith. 


Bambi is married and has a daughter from a previous marriage. Bambi has a voracious love of reading and an interest in all things musical. A former private music teacher, Bambi loves to play the piano as she has since the age of ten. SPLINTERED HAWKE is her first book.
