Squaring the Circle: Modified Kochański

The book is about the number pi and squaring the circle. The book presents a few modifications of Kochański construction. Kochański’s approximation to the length of the half of the circle is very well know. There are many various realization of his geometrical construction. Here, a simple approach is proposed to improve Kochański’s method. The presented material is illustrated. The computer (simple) programs are provided. It is a good tool for teaching mathematics.
