Its a beautiful spring day, and Sally is swinging in the backyard with her dad. Thats when she sees something wonderful. In the big tree in her backyard, Sally spies a beautiful blue bird. Thats a blue jay, her dad tells her. Excited, Sally runs over to the tree where the lively blue jay family has decided to build a nest.

Sally loves having blue jays in her tree. And when the nest comes alive with a clutch of baby blue jays, Sally is even happier. She sings to the birds and reads them stories every day.
