Surprisingly good

For a book written so early in the TV series, Peter David captures the characters really well. Is it deep and meaningful, well no. But it's entertaining and fills the void of wanting a DS9 story. Peter David has brought so much to the ST universe that I knew he wouldn't disappoint.
