Description de l’éditeur
“Robbins’s comic philosophical musings reveal a flamboyant genius.”—People
Still Life with Woodpecker is a sort of a love story that takes place inside a pack of Camel cigarettes. It reveals the purpose of the moon, explains the difference between criminals and outlaws, examines the conflict between social activism and romantic individualism, and paints a portrait of contemporary society that includes powerful Arabs, exiled royalty, and pregnant cheerleaders. It also deals with the problem of redheads.
Avis des utilisateurs
Being a redhead(not so much now) I have a great affinity for this title
It ends
Fantastic
My one concern is with the quality of the iBook - the starting page is set to Chapter 1, but it should begin with the beautifully written Prologue, as it does contain somewhat essential information to the rest of the novel.
Amazing Read
This has to be one of my favorite books of all time. A great twisting story filled with interesting characters. I'm going to buy the iPad version and read it for the 4th time.
