Stillwater

Sam and Maria Forman were born slaves, but fate would set them free. The end of the Civil War brought hope in the form of a letter, handwritten with directions to a distant and peaceful valley called Stillwater. They had no idea how good life could be or how costly the price of freedom would demand.
