Publisher Description

If you are 13 years or more, you can read the 10 gruesome, horrifying and exciting stories in this book.

The 10 stories have been told over and over again – for more than 2,500 years.

The remaining content of the book is directed at teachers and students.

The five main characters are called Abraham, Jacob, Joseph, Moses and David – and an entire chapter has been assigned to each of them. Each chapter starts with a story followed by a couple of exercises, before the chapter ends with information about the main character and his significance.

The stories are illustrated.

I hope the stories will excite your curiosity and make you want to tell them to others – and that the exercises are difficult enough to challenge you.

Where do the stories come from? I try to give a reasonable answer to this question in the second to last chapter.

The last chapter gives tips as to how you can use the stories in narration and teaching. There is also a link to my website, where you can download posters.

Finally, I give some advice as to how you can read more – and I take the opportunity to thank the people who have provided help and support in the process of writing this book.

Enjoy!
