SURVIVOR BOY

Twelve year old Elias loses his home and loving family in a fire and is betrayed by those who vowed to take care of him. Mistreated and forced into what could be considered slavery, he runs away to Hamburg. With the help of a dog, he adjusts to life on his own. Elias' life is difficult as he strives to find work, build himself a home, and over time improve his situation and reputation. When Elias' best friend dies, he leaves Hamburg.
