Abstract


Protecting and promoting the health, safety and employability of employees has priority over sales and profits at Evonik, as a matter of central importance to the company and its stakeholders. In order to protect and promote employee health Evonik took action to:

• ensure emergency medical management

• provide preventive healthcare

• implement health management programs

• apply an Occupational Health Performance Index


Using the GRI Standards in order to maintain and increase the value of your company


With each publication in this series the FBRH team will highlight one key impact identified by a company reporting in accordance with the GRI Standards and show how it has taken a structured, systematic approach to improving performance.
