So many hidden details
This was a fun story to read with many different aspects that kept me reading on. Jane and Rex are key characters without even realizing it. They both are strong individuals with feelings of low self-worth and confidence as a result of things in the past. I enjoyed seeing how this aspect of both characters was used and enhanced as the story progressed. Political power and control in the larger alien universe provided a great incentive for the Unseen to initiate their plan. Of course, this would drag Jayne and Rex right into the middle of the chaos. As more hidden details are revealed, more pieces of the puzzle fall in place. I found the story to be well written and provided a satisfying resolution with a HEA in the end.
