Taliesin's Arrow

1136 A.D. At the disastrous Battle of Kidwelly, Taliesin ap Goromwy, a Welsh archer-bard, lies mortally wounded. He will never see his betrothed, his beloved Lady Amwen, again. However, Taliesin is taken at the point of death, healed, and preserved in magical slumber for nearly nine centuries.

2024 A.D. As a member of the Army of the Living Dead, on the Second Wicked Day, Taliesin shoots an arrow that changes the course of the Second Battle of Camlann. His arrow also earns him the undying enmity of the demoness, Cerridwen.

2025 A.D. Single mother, Ursula Larsen, and her young daughter, Ariel, are on the vacation of a lifetime in the United Kingdom. In a Welsh village churchyard, they meet a strange man—a man who carries a harp, a longbow, and a sword. His name is Taliesin, and he is searching for the gravestone of his lost love, the woman he left behind nine centuries before.

 Ariel, a remarkably bright and perceptive six-year-old, bears an unusual scar—one that marks her as the target of the Sons of the Cauldron, a pagan cult that worships Cerridwen. The demon has not forgotten Taliesin. Cerridwen is determined to have her vengeance on him. And she will use Ariel—and Ursula—to achieve it.
