Tap Tap Tapping Hearts

In March 2015 a new way of traveling appeared seemingly out of nowhere in the form of a live-streaming  app called Periscope. Bloggers, freelance journalist, grandmothers, healers, housewives, entrepreneurs, coaches, charity workers and travellers embraced the core ethos of the app, which was immediate teleportation. The book introduces the Periscope App to the world by writing letters of gratitude to the people who are using the app. The letter to the man building homes for victims of an earthquake was a stand-out letter in the book. But, then there is the beauty of an idea that you could follow the sunrise around the world until it banged into your sunrise. And this is the metaphor of this book that really resonates. There is one sky, one sun, the same stars and we are connected through our shared planet. However, this book is much more than this. It is a story of the author’s journeys around the world.
