John Galsworthy (14 August 1867 - 31 January 1933) - is an English writer, playwright, known for his work The Forsyte Saga (1906-1921) and received the Nobel Prize in Literature. He was born and grew up in a wealthy and influential family in Surrey, England. John was educated at Oxford and went to travel abroad, where he wrote his first collection of short stories.
