Teenage Years-I - Awakening

ragamuffin — my life in pieces, teenage years — part I, takes place in Milton, Ontario. I was between the ages of 11-13. In this period of my life I went to two different schools in just outside of Milton. 


I grew up with five adorable brothers, 2 younger, 3 older. I was a South Asian female. I was adopted, as were some of my brothers. Religion masked as ‘spirituality’ governed my family.

In Milton, I started to grow up. But I didn’t have any positive feedback from my family. It was a time when my parents were out of their element. It was stressful for them financially.
