Bryan doesn’t like the outdoors—not when books and video games are best enjoyed inside. He’s only excited about their class ski trip because Danielle, his crush, promised to give him some tips. If he doesn’t embarrass himself or shatter any bones, it’s going to be an awesome day.

He’s taking a break in the shack their ski instructor calls “a cabin” when there’s a terrifying noise. Avalanche!

Now Bryan is stranded up the mountain with his best friend and two classmates, while Danielle and those who made it down the slope and onto the school bus are buried in the snow. With their teacher badly injured, Danielle knows they can’t wait to be rescued. She must escape the bus and get help.

Bryan and Danielle are going to need all their skills to survive. Because something is outside, something that the avalanche has awoken. And it is very, very, hungry…
