Emotionally charged
Definitely loved this book. Once again author Katherine Garbera has brought to life a story of love from the ashes of pain, hurt & fear. As we watch Max continue to struggle with his grief & anger over the death of his brother, he meets Angelica who’s struggling to get past a viral video that has ruined her business & life. The two have a chemistry that is super charged & full of emotions neither knows how to handle. After Angelica & Cosima crash Max’s party they work together on a project & Max learns that Angelica isn’t the villain that the video portrayed & that she’s a strong, passionate woman who’s slowly showing him what love is, whether he can handle it is another question. Soon he finds that his life has changed because of Angelica & Angelica finds that she’s grown more in her heart & soul as well because of Max. We also see a secondary story with Cosima, Angelica’s cousin & business partner & Max’s business partner Reg, that’s got some angst to it as well. I’m hoping they’ll be a story soon. This story grabs your heart right from the beginning & doesn’t let go even at the end because I wanted it to keep going. Definitely recommend. I voluntarily read this book for an honest review.
