That Time on the Mountain

My family has been a great influence on my reading & writing my entire life.
Born in a small town in Northern Minnesota during the Great Depression, my 9 brothers & sisters & I grew up in a one-room house.
Mom read to Dad every night by the light of a kerosene lamp.

Our aunt, a teacher & librarian, made sure we received a book for all occasions, with some nonsense.
In this book of poetry, I have drawn from many of my life experiences.

I will always be grateful to friends & family for all their support while instilling the love of reading, writing, & storytelling in me.
