The Alien Who Fell

An alien landing craft malfunctions and is shot down over the Arizona desert.

Thaddeus, an alien scientist on his first mission to Earth, barely escapes his doomed ship and is severely injured when he falls into the backyard of young Air Force widow, Savanna Martin. But his rescue beacon isn't attached to his suit, leaving him stranded and helpless.

Savanna hides Thaddeus while his injuries heal. Around them, the government scours the surrounding landscape for survivors or debris from the ship and Thaddeus's fellow aliens frantically race to find and rescue him before he's captured or killed. Complicating things, the advanced A.I. pilot of the spaceship also survived the crash, but with its ethical programming damaged. It searches for Thaddeus, not to save him, but to kill him, anyone he's had contact with, and anyone who gets in its way.

With danger closing in on Thaddeus and Savanna, one learns to love, another learns to love again, and two different species begin to trust...
