Now my 4 star rating is not a 5 star rating only for the fact of you know what is going to happen every book (a new place to live either horrible or great until count Olaf comes and they know that is him, but no one believes it until the very end and count Olaf escapes.) there is the fact that to keep the story going the villain must stay alive and same with the heroes, but maybe there could be even the slightest twist, his book "Who Could That Be At This Hour" had some great twists and turns! (like maybe he has 12 assistants and each book one of them gets killed or arrested until the very last book where count Olaf is executed/beheaded) other than that the series is great! Great for 10-12 year olds! Lemony Snicket- keep writing your awesome books!
