   The author Mary Martin is not  only an educator.  She worked with children until an accident caused her to be the “Lady At The Window” for a season, due to limited mobility. Her love for writing and a desire to encourage children to read more became her link to write children stories. Mary Martin is back to working part time and loving it. Her motto is “Let the children enjoy being children.”
