Publisher Description

Billionaire Harker has everything he wants, except a child.

He's finally chosen the mother. Alison is brilliant, kind and hard-working. Her genes will mesh perfectly with his. And it doesn't hurt that he's spent the last year fantasizing about taking her to his bed and doing all kinds of deliciously wicked things to her.

Alison can't believe that her boss wants her to have his kid and that he wants to do it the old-fashioned way. She can't imagine having sex with him. He's Harker. Sure he's kind of sexy in a dark, brooding way and when he barks orders her body naturally responds, but still…sex with Harker?  She can't do that, or can she? His offer is hard to refuse, and she'd only have to be with him until she got pregnant. It shouldn't take long, right?

This steamy, later in life, friends to lovers, romantic comedy will have you laughing out loud. Harker is brusque, alpha and bossy. Alison is fine with that in the workplace. He is her boss after all, but she's not sure about having his child. He's not a fool and knows that she won't do it for free. All he has to do is find the right price. Everyone has one.

This is book 1 in a 4 book series. Harker and Alison's HEA is at the end of book 4.

Rosemary Pollock ,

The Baby Bargain

Ellis O. Day’s books deal mostly in the wold of sex clubs with light BDSM. But what draws me to them is that they are funny. She uses her words as the tints and tones of colour and paints a canvas of real life characters that become embroiled in situations that are vivid and graphic. Her language is light yet teasing, her banter playful yet intense, and her scenes are laugh-out-loud funny. She is the Billy Connolly of writing where the characters start a dialogue on one topic leading to something completely different but ending up at their original thought. That is an art. How Harkeer convinces Alison to become his lover (if she stops talking long enough) is sexy, delicious, and oh so hot, that you might need to douse yourself with your mint julep.
I have been fascinated with this author ever since I read “Interviewing His Love.” She is a very eloquent and polished writer whose stories are addictive and heart-warming. I like how we are able to re-meet her other non-forgettable book characters as they step into the pages of alternating books. “The Baby Bargain” ios happy and gratifying, a story that tugs at your heartstrings and leaves you singing a song of ravishing enchantment.

I HATE when a book ends in the middle of a story. Is it just a ploy to buy more books?
