I thoroughly enjoyed this book! The author made all the characters “normal “, just regular people doing regular things but she showed us the specialness of all that normalacy.
My take away= acceptance and unconditional love!
Often recommend
Absorbing read which carries you effortlessly along. This, together with "Pigs in Heaven", is a book I often recommend when guests are rummaging through my book shelf.
The Bean Tree
A great read. Quirky, interesting characters thrown together by happenstance. Great character development. Caught my attention with the first paragraph. Loved it.
