The Big Bang in the Garden of Good and Evil
Publisher Description
Sooner or later, everyone has a “big bang moment” in life when an important connection suddenly alters their thinking. These transformational moments often enter into existence serendipitously when a novel idea bubbles up from the unconscious and enters the conscious state to reveal some hidden truth. Just as quickly, the kernel of wisdom disappears again into the labyrinth of the unconscious if not captured and acted upon quickly.
Such revelations stem from a hidden ethereal web of knowledge that spans the universe everywhere from the rules governing galaxies to the intricacies of human mind. Each one of us is called upon in life to understand these bits of wisdom when they visit us because wisdom can be both good and evil affecting us accordingly.
The two-act play focuses on four graduate students playing cards who ruminate about their big bang moments of dissertation discoveries acquired in university; and then recapitulate these revelations thirty years later during a get together over card playing.
