I was so invested in this pair
I feel like I’m coming to this party so very late, as this is the first book in The Young Billionaires series that I’ve read. And what a place to start it. There were some light-hearted, fun moments, but on the whole, this is an angst-y emotional read. Both Willa and Jonathon have boatloads of family relationship baggage that need to be unpacked. They’re both being as honest as they can while lying through their teeth at various point throughout the story. It’s heartbreaking to watch them get so close only to see them mess up and miss again. I loved how this book crosses over with a few other series. By the time I reached the ending, I was so invested in this pair, I was crying Willa’s tears.
