Tyson Blade yearns for a quiet life, free of the drama that seems to go hand in hand with relationships, and believes that his career-oriented girlfriend is the perfect match for him. But after he comes face to face with the woman who once broke his heart, his life is thrown into turmoil.

Harlequin Steele has returned to Caden Falls after seven years, and, in a twist of fate, is dating his best friend. But, as Tyson soon discovers, love has no expiration date. And he finds himself sucked into a world of lies and deceptions as old flames are rekindled.

Can he finally have the beautiful future with her that he once dreamt of, or is history destined to repeat itself?

NOTE: Each book in this series can be read as a stand-alone as each is a complete story unto itself.

"So, talk to me," he prompted her with a quiet smile as he gave her a gentle squeeze. "Tell me something I don't know about the multitalented Quinn Steele, graphic artist extraordinaire by day and naughty phone sex goddess by night."
"I do that during the day too, if you recall," she pointed out with a grin. "And you'll get my bill in the mail soon," she added with a laugh, delighting in the faint blush that rushed up to cover his cheeks.
"Name your price," Tyson whispered. "I'll give you anything you want. Sky's the limit."
The word was hovering on the edge of her lips, pleading for the chance to leap to freedom. But she couldn't bring herself to say it.
He had already promised her that once before, but it had been a lie, and it had almost killed her to see her college roommate straddling his lap in his dorm room, the same room in which he used to make love to her.
She would be a fool to set herself up for that kind of anguish again, she cautioned herself in silence as she dropped her gaze to her martini. Her heart wouldn't recover from being broken a second time by Tyson Blade.
"A kiss," she replied as she turned to face him, her lips curling into a soft smile.
"That's all?" he murmured, his eyes glittering with mischief as he peered down at her. "Guess I got off cheap," he quipped, his brows dancing an impish jig at the crude pun.
"Did you really just call me 'cheap'?" Harley demanded, fighting to smother her grin.
"I would've gladly paid a hell of a lot more," he told her with a casual shrug. "But I'll take the discounted rate, if you're sure that's what you want," he tacked on, his lips curling into a playful grin for a second before they claimed hers with a blistering kiss.
The breezy teasing disappeared in that instant and she could no longer think straight with his mouth moving on hers. The blatant hunger in the hard caress of his lips was stripping her mind of everything but him and the wild passion that he so easily inspired in her, and her soft moan parted her lips under his at the silent demand of his probing tongue.
Her arms coiled around his waist as he leaned into her, his eager mouth devouring hers with a naked greed, and she was helpless to subdue the shudder that tore through her as a firestorm of lust roared to life within her loins.
Curious fingers slipped beneath the hem of his tee shirt to traipse over the sculpted expanse of his back, and her mind registered the change in him with a mixture of surprise and awe. His body had matured as well, its chiseled muscles hard and unyielding beneath her fingertips, and she drank in his groan of pleasure as she dragged her nails down the length of his back, her feminine ego purring with quiet delight to know that it still drove him wild.
"Can we go back to your place?" he croaked as he broke their kiss and peered down at her from hooded eyes, a shy smile forming on his lips as he nudged her nose with his. "Please?"
Was she going to sleep with him on the second day that she had seen him after seven years?
Hell yes.
