The Blue Grass Cook Book

This is a very thorough Kentucky cookbook featuring recipes from homemakers all over the Blue Grass. Many of the recipes would be easy to reproduce today, although one does wonder at a few of the ingredients (such as "one teacup of yeast" to make French Biscuits, or Mrs. Preston's Wine Jelly, which actually seems to feature a prodigious quantity of whiskey).
