Yuri Storasi (Borgosesia; b. June 26, 1979). A born film lover, in 2005 Yuri graduated with full honours in Disciplines of Art, Music and Performance (Cinematography Major) at the University of Turin, thanks to his dissertation The Figure of the Hero in Clint Eastwood’s Cinema. He has been writing (literature and scripts) and directing since 2006.
His short stories include Il Mangiauomini (The Man-Eater), first-prize winner at the Bonsai Fantasy award fostered by www.serviziculturali.org; Nascosto (Hidden), published by Larcher Editore; Lady Manhattan, third-prize winner at Asti Library’s national competition.
In 2008 he wrote and directed the short feature film Ekaterina, shortlisted for the ToHorrorFestival and winner of the Best Editing award at the Joe D’Amato Horror Festival.
He is currently working with Turin-based production house Atlantide Entertainment and has written for them the scripts of two feature films, currently in pre-production.
