The Book of Triads

The Book of Triads contains 80 different exercises for playing the diatonic triads in the key of C Melodic Minor, one of the most common scales used in improvisation.



Each exercise covers two octaves and is shown in both standard notation and tablature for electric bass. These exercises cover a wide variety of triad voicings - root position, first inversion, open position - in both ascending and descending directions and with various combinations of triad types.



The Book of Triads will introduce your fingers to some new shapes for triads and get you familiar with these key foundational aspects of harmony.
